Years ago, I used to watch How I Met Your Mother on a daily basis. I first discovered that show when the re-runs would come on during the hour between my other two shows. While I was waiting for the New Adventures of Old Christine to come on, I would watch How I Met … More I took a page out of Ted Mosby’s book (Divorce Diaries – Part 4)
I don’t know why, but I never realized how much childhood trauma could affect your adult relationships. Our childhood is critical when it comes to our development and who we become as adults. I came across an old post I wrote back in 2020. The post was about seeing things clearly and how 2020 was the year of clear vision. Fast-forward to now, 2020 has nothing on 2024. This year has been an eye-opening year for sure. It’s like we’re seeing a lot of people’s (and organizations’) … More 2024: The Year of Reveal. (When Push comes to Shove!) Blogmas #4
I’ve been thinking and wondering what the next chapter of my blog will be. Which is worse? Failing or never trying? This question used to be so simple. The answer seemed so obvious. Never trying would be the worse choice of course. Now, I look at it slightly differently. I still feel that never trying is still the worst choice someone can make for the most part. However, … More To Fail or To Never Try? (That’s the question. What’s the answer?)
Today I was thinking a lot about romance movies and shows based on love and relationships. I’ve noticed that a lot of people would say that they hate romance stories because they’re so unrealistic. They feel like it showcases a false sense of what relationships/marriages are really like (especially years in). I will say … More Does Romance Movies have a negative effect on our Love Life?
